Shipping and Delivery

We offer a number of different shipping and delivery options. Requirements and cut off times may vary depending on your region so please check the specific requirements for your region carefully.  You will receive an email upon dispatch which includes a link to view your order details and track. Please also be aware that depend on the volume of your order it may come in two parcels.

Standard Shipping


Please be aware that the prices below exclude orders with bulky goods or multiple bulky goods within a single order. Please refer to the bulky items sections.  The prices below only refers to orders delivered within Great. For orders out of Great Britain please refer to the relevant section.

Great Britain

Standard delivery is within 2-4 working days.

Delivery is Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Any orders placed after 5pm Friday and over the weekend will not be dispatched until Monday, excluding Public Holidays.

We will make every effort to deliver all your items together and at the same time, however in some cases your order may arrive in separate consignments.

Northern Ireland

Delivery is within 2-7 working days.

Europe

Orders placed within Europe have separate shipping rates and subject to the delivery times of the respective couriers. Typically allow a 2 week allowance between when the order is placed and delivered. Depending on the specific location we are able to provide premium shipping prices and fast delivery however also double check with a member of our team using the quick chat icon which is always quick and reliable.

Free Shipping

Some of our items qualify for free shipping. You will see this from the free shipping sticker demonstrated below the product image. Items which qualify for free shipping do not have any shipping cost at check out and are typically delivered between 2-5 days.

Large, Bulky Items

Large bulky items can take between 3-6 working days and the charges vary depending on the item. If your order contains a large or bulky item you will be notified of the charge and the shipping time frame when you add this item to your basket. Large, bulky items are typically products that weigh over 30kg. However, some items may be classed as large or bulky items even if they weigh less than 30kg due to the products dimensions.

Our Large, Bulky couriers can only deliver to your doorstep and are unable to enter your property. Please ensure someone is on hand to assist at the arranged time of delivery.

Please note that we try our best to offer the most competitive shipping rates. Shipping fees incurred are only covering the cost of the shipping as charged by our third party delivery company. In these cases, we have no alternative but to pass this shipping charge to our customers. Where possible, we subsidise the shipping charge and do not pass this to our customers.

Delivery Failure

If you fail to take delivery of the ordered goods and they are returned to us, we will contact you upon their arrival via email. A refund of the cost of goods without shipping will be processed within 7 days unless you have notified us before then to advise that the goods are still required. If the goods are still required, you will be charged an additional shipping fee for a second delivery.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure there is someone at the delivery address at the specified date to sign for the parcel. If no one is present the courier may deliver the goods to a neighbour either side or directly opposite and should leave a card to advise where this parcel has been left. Alternatively, the parcel can be left in a safe location on the property, such as porches with a door, sheds or greenhouses and garages. If a parcel is showing as being delivered but you are claiming non receipt of a parcel, please contact Customer Services directly through our website. Notification of such failures must be made within 7 working days from last day of expected delivery. Please allow 3-5 working days from date of notifying us to allow us to investigate with the courier. If a refund is applied and the goods are later located then we reserve the right to place a debit for these goods unless you return them to us. Contact us here. Failure to raise an initial query within this timeframe may result in failure to investigate with our couriers and redress may not be offered.

Out of Stock

Usually everything displayed on our site as “In Stock” is present in our warehouse and available for immediate dispatch. In the unlikely event that any ordered goods are not readily available to us, we reserve the right to cancel your order. You will receive an email notification of any order cancellation as a result of stock out confirming that any pre-authorisation has been released or payment refunded as relevant in line with our Payment Terms, to the extent that the out of stock item forms part of a larger order, all other goods ordered by the customer will be dispatched in the normal way.

In cases of stock outs of items ordered in-store for home delivery, you will receive an email notification of the order cancellation and may contact us here to obtain a refund or alternatively return to your local store with your cancellation email to obtain a refund via your original payment method. To the extent that the out of stock item forms part of a larger order, all other goods ordered by the customer will be dispatched in the normal way.

Split Delivery

While we make every effort to deliver all your items together and at the same time, in some cases your order may arrive in separate consignments. This will predominantly relate to orders that contain both Small and Large and Bulky items.

Large and Bulky items will be loaded onto an alternative trailer and tacking may not update immediately. This should not affect your delivery time frame of 3-6 working days. Should you not have received your order on or before the 6th working day, please do get in touch.

Delivery Timeframes

It is our objective to achieve on time delivery on all orders. We monitor our delivery partners and our experience is that delivery is successful within the chosen delivery time period in 99% of cases.

We use a number of third party courier service providers and on occasion human error may cause a package to be misdirected. Once despatched, the on time delivery of a package is the responsibility of the relevant courier company and Babies&Mums cannot be held responsible for a package not reaching its destination on time.

In order to avoid disappointment, we suggest that customers place orders well in advance of parties and Christmas to allow for any unforeseen delays.

Returns and Refunds

Unwanted items

Simply return your unwanted item within 10 days of receipt unused, unopened, in its original condition and packaging, your return must be in a re-sellable condition.

All returns must be accompanied by a valid Babies&Mums receipt or your dispatch confirmation email including your order reference (UK) number. You will be liable for the cost of returning the goods to us and must ensure that they are returned in protective packaging. Where an item is damaged or returned otherwise than as per our stated requirements above, we reserve the right to refuse redress.

Our return address which is the address of our warehouse or fulfilment centre is usually displayed on most of our products boxes. Additionally we have our return address on most of the address labels which carry the delivery address of the buyer

Once the unwanted item is received back to the warehouse it will be checked and granted it meets our return policy conditions we will then offer a refund for this item. Refunds will be applied to the payment method that was used to purchase the item.

Info: You should receive notification of your refund within 10 working days after your parcel has been returned. If you have not received notification of your refund within 10 working days, please contact us.

Damaged or Faulty Items

We make it a duty to ensure all your purchases reach you in perfect condition. If you receive a delivery and the item is damaged please refuse the delivery. Where the damage is not noticeable until you open your parcel.

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item, you may return this item to us in accordance with your statutory rights.

In all cases, items will be inspected and if confirmed as faulty we will issue a suitable form of redress (replacement/repair/refund).

If an item is not deemed faulty following inspection, then we are unable to offer a replacement or refund. A reason will be given as to why the product is in dispute. We will return such items to the customer at the customer’s cost.

In dispute items will be retained by us for 30 days from the date of notification to the customer that no fault has been found and may be destroyed by us after this time where the cost of re-shipping the item to the customer has not been received.

For help and advice on what to do where you believe an item to be faulty, please see our Returns FAQ’s. We suggest that before you return an item as faulty, please ensure you have checked the batteries, please note that all our toys work best with alkaline batteries.

Returning Incorrect Items

Upon delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to check the contents of their packages and inform us of any discrepancies at the earliest opportunity.

Please note that some items may be dispatched in an outer carton that differs in description to that of the items ordered. Where you have received the incorrect items, we will arrange collection of the incorrect items on a date suitable for you within 7 days of the correct item being delivered. Where the correct item has been delivered and the incorrect item has not been collected or otherwise returned to us, then you will be liable for the cost of the incorrect item(s).

Forms of Redress

The acceptable forms of redress for any return whether online or in store are a repair, replacement or a refund.

Premium Shipping:

You will also receive a text & email on the morning of delivery. Text & email alerts also offer you further delivery options such as changing delivery date, instructions to leave with neighbour or in a safe place.

Standard Shipping:

Large Bulky Items

You will receive an email upon dispatch which includes your tracking number and details on how to track your order. Please be aware that there may be a delay between this email and your order being available for tracking. The courier company will call you to organise a suitable delivery day. Please note delivery will not take place until arranged with the courier.

Our couriers are working hard to ensure that all orders are delivered on time but may take a little longer to arrive. Keep an eye on your tracking link for further delivery updates.
